Working principle of air swept coal mill

Air swept coal mill is the main equipment of the milling system. The raw coal enters the feeding device of the mill by vibrating feeder. The hot air with a temperature of about 300 °C also enters the feeding device through air inlet pipe. The raw coal containing water starts heat exchange here; when the raw coal enters the drying chamber of the mill, the raw coal is lifted up by the special lifting plate in the drying chamber, so that the raw coal is dried by strongly exchanged heat here. The dried coal blocks enter the grinding chamber through the double compartment board. The grinding chamber is equipped with grinding balls, In grinding chamber,the coal block is pulverized and ground into pulverized coal. At the same time that the coal block is pulverized, the pulverized coal powder and gas are discharged together from the mill by the induced draft fan, and the coarser particles are returned to the grinding chamber through the return screw to be re-grinded.
