The quality control of ceramic sand rotary kiln
Over the past few years of operating experience to determine the quality of roasted ceramsite, it can be observed the situation of the ceramic baking roasting at the surface of the trolley from the igniter 1 meter. If there is no fire on the surface, the ceramsite is light grayish yellow and slightly adhesive, and there are some gaps between the material layer and the trolley side plate, and it can be regarded as normal roasting. If the surface of the ceramsite is still with fire, indicating the resistance of material layer is big, or clay content of the pellets is not enough, so the burning layer can not normally push down. If the surface of the ceramsite was orange-red, indicating excessive carbon content and large pieces of ceramic form. If encounter the above situation, the operator should promptly notify the ingredients section and the finished pellet section, meanwhile adjusting the ignition temperature, trolley speed and the opening degree of suction box, to overcome the abnormal situation as soon as possible.
When the raw pellets are too large, should increase the ignition temperature, and slow down the trolley speed, so that the material pellets fully sintered. When the carbon content is too high, should reduce the ignition temperature; on the contrary, the ignition temperature should be raised to 1300 degrees centigrade, and slow down the trolley speed. When moisture content of the raw pellets is high, should increase the trolley speed, to reduce the burst. When found that the resistance of material layer is large and the burning layer is not easy to push down, should open suction box valve, increase the negative pressure and suction volume. Ceramic sand rotary kiln operators should also work with the ingredients section, finished pellet section, the finished production section to maintain close contact with each other. If there is a failure and need to stop, should stop the oil supply first, then stopping, and then stop balling. If the fault lasting more than 30 minutes, should be turned off the ignition of the blower to prevent the lighter quenching. If the failure lasting more than 1 hour, should reduce air door of the boiler draught fan to save electricity consumption.
