Ceramsite sand rotary kilns are consists of shell, drive device, support and thrust roller device, kiln inlet sealing, kiln head hood and combustion device and other components. The drive device rotates the shell at the required rotational speed by a ring gear provided in the middle part of ceramsite sand rotary kiln shell. In order to prevent the entry of cold air and the overflow of flue gas dust from shell, there are equipped with reliable kiln inlet and kiln head sealing device respectively in feeding end (the inlet) and discharging end (the head) of the ceramsite sand rotary kiln shell.
