Zhejiang customer imports spodumene raw ore from Africa, and then deep processing into lithium carbonate in China. The size of raw spodumene ore is varies. The customer directly load the spodumene onto the bulk carrier for domestic transportation. Under the current situation of international shipping, there are fewer ships from Africa to China, and the sea freight is relatively expensive. The customer wants better and more economical transportation of spodumene. 

2. Project description

Because the particle size of spodumene ore is different, but the particle size of material enter into ball mill grinding has certain requirements. Therefore, our engineers fully considered the actual situation of customers' materials in the process design, and equipped the hammer breaking in the front section of the ball mill. First, the spodumene ore with inconsistent particle size is broken by hammering until the particle size is consistent, and then entered into the ball mill for grinding. At the same time, in order to better grinding effect of the ball mill, our engineers equipped the dust collector, so as to make the air flow in the ball mill cylinder smooth, avoid the phenomenon of material blocking and over grinding. 

 

3. Equipment parameter

The front section of the ball mill is equipped with PC400x300 hammer. The maximum feed particle size can reach 200mm and the discharge particle size can be controlled below 25mm. Production can reach 5 tons per hour. Dry lattice type 1.2x4.5m is selected for the ball mill. The feeding grain size of the ball mill is 25mm, and the discharging grain size of 60-300 mesh can be adjusted. Supporting precipitator PPC32-3, processing air volume up to 6900 cubic meters per hour. The total filtration area is 93 square meters.
