It is necessary to make adequate preparations before foundation construction. First of all, when choosing the site of the plant, the groundwater system should be avoided as much as possible, and areas with solid soil or stone should be selected. Then professionals will carry out geological exploration to determine the geological conditions and submit them to the civil engineering design unit to check whether the load of the rotary kiln and its foundation is available here. If the results of the geological survey indicate that the firmness here is insufficient to support the rotary kiln and its foundation, the civil engineering design unit shall design the underground part of the foundation, for example, a whole raft or additional pile foundation under the rotary kiln foundation. Avoid settlement after foundation construction.
During the construction of the rotary kiln foundation, a settlement observation point must be left on the body of the kiln pier, and a reference point should be set at a location that is not easy to settle around, such as a wall, a mountain, etc. After the foundation is completed, the settlement observation points need to be regularly observed.
