2.Classification of Ball Mill Feeding Size
Because different manufacturers have different requirements on the particle size that can enter the ball mill, Generally the feeding size of small ball mill is less than 20 mm.
Below 20mm: Most of material feeding size enter into the ball mill equipment are less than 20mm. Because the ball mill size is small, only the smaller size materials can enter into the barrel.
Below 25mm: below 25mm is normal range of the material feeding size. Because of the finer output size of ball mill machine, in order to ensure the normal operation of the equipment and production efficiency, 25mm is obtained max feeding size after the accurate calculation of the equipment R&D center of the manufacturer.The feed size of large and medium-sized ball mills is generally controlled below 25mm, which can ensure the high production efficiency of the ball mill machine;
Below 50mm:If the output size is coarse, large-sized rod mills can accept material below 50mm into the barrel, and the feed size below 50mm is only for large rod mills, and It is required that the discharge granularity is relatively coarse, otherwise the production effect of the equipment will not reach the expected value of the user.
3.Reasonable Control of Ball Mill Feeding Size
The feed size of the material affects the fineness of the finished material, the grinding efficiency of the ball mill equipment, and the failure rate. Under normal circumstances, when the discharge particle size of the material is determined, the smaller the feed particle size, the shorter the grinding time of the ball mill and the higher efficiency; the larger the feed particle size, the longer the ball mill grinds to the standard discharge size, and the efficiency is lower..
