Diatomite rotary kilnis the key equipment in industrial plant which are four important engineering projects of our company. How to operate diatomite rotary kiln correctly? Here today ZK Corp would give you the following suggestions.

1. Please fasten all the bolts, check the lubrication parts to guarantee sufficient oil and the cooling water pipe is unblocked.

2. Idle running motor for 2 hours and reducer for 8 hours before trial run. To record electricity, rising temperature and abnormal sound.

3. Idle running the drum for 2 days before bricklaying. Check the lubrication parts, temperature rising less than 30 degrees centigrade, the vibration of the transmission part, the contact of the gear and pinion, and the sealing condition of kiln inlet and outlet.

4. Rotate the rotary kiln when the refractory brick flush. When the temperature in kiln is sufficient to burn coal powder, start to blow coal powder and air. When it doesn’t burn, don’t allow person to stand in the kiln head or watch inside. When it burns the coal powder, the kiln should rotate slowly. After the temperature and feeding amount increasing, the rotation speed of kiln would increase.

5. All transmission parts and thrust roller should be checked frequently. Please take measures in time if there is noise, vibration or heat rising.

6. Check and guarantee sealing device of the kiln inlet and outlet are in good sealing condition.

7.After running 100-500 hours constantly, all the lubrication oil and grease should be replaced one time. After that, replace every six months.

8. When the rotary kiln stop running, within 10 minutes, please stop feeding material and fuel, but don’t stop blower. After 10 minutes, please stop blower and flue gate. To avoid the rotary kiln body curve, please reduce the rotation speed gradually 1/4 rotation, per 5-10 minutes after two hours 1/4 rotation, per 15-20 minutes after 3 hours 1/4 rotation, per 30 minutes and then 1/4 rotation per hour.

9. If stop the rotary kiln for a long period, please burn the kiln coating and ring forming. Pull the burner out of the kiln after stop feeding fuel. And all the material in the kiln should be unloaded. Stop air exhaust after the kiln cool completely.After stop the kiln, please check whether the lubrication parts need supplement. All parts cooling water must be eliminated completely.
