1. Project profile

The customer’s company operates a steel factory in Pakistan. In the process of iron making, lime with certain quality is needed.  Customers have been buying lime from others.  With the development of production, the customer decided to set up a lime production line by himself.  In this way, the cost can be saved and the quality of lime can be well controlled.

2. Project description

The customer will buy the raw material limestone from the mine.  According to the use of lime, our engineer inform the customer clear the quality requirements of limestone, so that customers can purchase the quality of raw limestone to meet their steel factory requirements.  At the same time, it is recommended that customers directly purchase limestone with a certain size, which can be enter into rotary kiln directly and calcined.  This can save the cost of the crushing section, and also saves the waste of powdered materials that cannot enter the rotary kiln in the crushing process.  Since the customer just started this new lime project, the production demand is not large. According to the actual demand of the customer, our engineers choose the main equipment rotary kiln with diameter axis.  

 

3. Equipment parameter

The core equipment rotary kiln is 1.6/1.9 meters in diameter and 39 meters in length.  The output can reach 50TPD.  Rotary kiln diameter of 1.6 meters is the preheating section.  The material is preheated within 1.6m diameter of rotary kiln.  The preheated limestone enters the 1.9 meter diameter section with the rotation of the rotary kiln.  This rotary kiln is 1.9 meters in diameter, and the preheated limestone is calcined.  The qualified lime after calcination enters into rotary cooling machine for rapid cooling, so as to ensure the activity of lime.  Cooling machine number is 1.4x14 meters.
