Vertical mill, also known as roller mill, is widely used in large-scale material grinding and ultrafine grinding processing in industries such as coal, cement chemical, and power. It is an ideal equipment for the grinding industry that integrates crushing, grinding, drying, grading, and conveying. When used for coal powder preparation, it can make the product fineness meet industry and national standards.
In the process of coal powder production, the main motor drives the grinding disc to rotate through the reducer, while hot air enters the vertical mill body from the air inlet. The raw coal falls to the center of the grinding disc through the feeding pipe, and the constant speed rotating grinding disc disperses and flattens the raw coal outward with the help of centrifugal force, forming a certain thickness of material bed. The raw coal is simultaneously crushed by multiple grinding rollers on the grinding disc. Under the continuous drive of centrifugal force, the raw coal continuously moves towards the outer edge of the grinding plate. When the powder leaving the grinding plate meets the hot gas entering the mill through the wind ring and rises, it enters the separator through the middle shell of the mill. During this process, the coal powder and the hot gas have sufficient heat exchange, and the water is quickly evaporated. The powder selection machine controls the particle size of the finished product at the outlet of the roller mill. Particles larger than the specified size are separated and fall back to the grinding disc. Coal powder that meets the fineness requirements enters the dust collector through the powder selection machine, and the collected finished product is sent to the finished product warehouse.

4. The particle size of the incoming mill can reach 80-120mm, and the large vertical mill can reach 200mm, simplifying the crushing process flow;
5. The service life of vulnerable parts is long. Due to the lack of direct contact between metals during the operation of the vertical mill, there is less wear (wear of 5g/t);
6. The material has a short residence time in the mill (2-3min), making it easy to automatically control the chemical composition of ingredients and products;
