Working Principle

The motor is connected with the drum device through the reducer through the coupling or belt transmission device to drive the drum device to rotate around its axis. After the materials enter the drum device, due to the inclination and rotation of the drum device, the materials on the screen surface turn over and roll, so that the qualified materials (products under the screen) are discharged through the screen of the outer circle of the drum, and the unqualified materials (products on the screen) are discharged through the end of the drum.

Uniformity of feeding

When the feeding is uniform, there will be a phenomenon that there is material on one side of the screen surface and there is no material on the other side, which will reduce the utilization rate of the overall screen surface, so that the output can not meet the requirements. On the other hand, due to uneven feeding, the material accumulation on one side will be too thick. Once the material accumulation thickness is too large, it will affect the screening accuracy and output.

Feeding quantity

When using the trommel screen, if too much material is fed at one time, which exceeds the screening load that the screening machine can bear, the materials will be discharged from the discharge port before they can be screened, resulting in too much fine materials being discharged from the coarse material port, which will greatly reduce the screening efficiency.

Angle

Trommel screen generally has a relatively strict installation angle, and the angle between roller screen and the ground can be changed according to the needs of users. However, too large or too small an angle is not appropriate: too large an angle will make the material quickly cross the surface of the drum screen, and the material has passed the screen before screening, resulting in poor screening effect; If the angle is too small, it will affect the advance of materials, resulting in a large amount of feed piling up on the mesh surface, which will produce a large load on the mesh surface, reduce the service life of the screen, increase the power required by the drum screen, and also affect the screening effect.
