The hydraulic retaining wheel system of rotary kiln is mainly composed of retaining wheel system and hydraulic system. The axial movement of the rotary kiln body is controlled by the hydraulic stop wheel, which can make the tire belt and the supporting roller wear evenly across the full width, while ensuring the linearity of the kiln body centerline and reducing power consumption. Analysis of the reasons for the failure of the hydraulic retaining wheel system of the rotary kiln: the retaining wheel is installed improperly and the surface is in poor contact. When installing the retaining wheel, the center line of the retaining wheel is required to coincide with the longitudinal center line of the kiln body; only in this way, the tire belt and the surface of the retaining wheel are ideal The pure rolling friction. Once the centerline of the retaining wheel deviates greatly from the longitudinal centerline of the kiln body, friction forces in the upward and downward directions will be generated on the surface of the retaining wheel, causing the retaining wheel to run up and the upper gland bolt to break due to excessive force. Or even the entire gear wheel falls off and breaks. When the stop wheel is close to the rotation direction of the kiln body, the rotation of the tire belt will generate downward friction on the surface of the stop wheel, causing the lowermost thrust bearing to be overstressed and fail. On the other hand, the installation of rotary kiln generally has inclination requirements, so the hydraulic block wheel base also has corresponding installation inclination requirements, so that the contact between the block wheel and the tire belt in the height direction can reach more than 90%. When the slope deviation is large, the contact surface will appear only in the upper or lower 50% area, which will affect the bending distance, torque and other force conditions on the shaft and cause the failure of the shaft; the surface of the wheel belt and the retaining wheel uneven machining or wear will cause poor meshing, resulting in impact damage to the shaft.
