The kiln head of the rotary kiln plays a very important role in the working process. Only by ensuring the stable operation of the kiln head can the working efficiency of the equipment be fundamentally improved. However, during the operation process, the kiln head part needs to maintain a certain negative pressure, especially when the fluctuation is large, which seriously affects the working efficiency of the equipment.
Reasons For Negative Pressure Increased:
1. The amount of secondary air drawn by the kiln system is greater than the amount of air supplied, resulting in an out-of-balance between the two.
2. When the material layer in the cylinder is too thin, the temperature of the residual air will change from high temperature to low temperature, which will increase the residual air volume, destroy the balance and increase the negative pressure of the kiln head.
3. When the material layer in the cylinder thickens greatly, the air volume decreases due to the increase of resistance. At this time, the air volume of the cooling system decreases and the negative pressure of the kiln head increases.
Reasons For Negative Pressure Reduction:
1. When a large amount of raw material enters the kiln from the feed end of the rotary kiln, smoke are emitted from the sealing ring. In a short time, the raw material flows into the burning zone from the kiln end. This situation will cause the resistance of the system to suddenly increase and affect the normal ventilation of the system, resulting in a decrease in the negative pressure of the kiln head and kiln tail, and the material will be burnt if it is not handled in time, which will affect normal production in severe cases.
2. When the calcination effect of the material is not good, it will cause the material to agglomerate or raw material run ou, which will cause the temperature of the residual air to rise rapidly, and the gas volume expands, which reduces the negative pressure of the kiln head or generates positive pressure;
3. When a large material ball approaches the kiln mouth, it will greatly interfere with the ventilation and flame in the kiln, resulting in a decrease in the negative pressure of the kiln head.
Treatment method of kiln head negative pressure fluctuation:
1. Treatment method of negative pressure increase. (1) Sufficient air volume is added from the cooling system to balance the air volume of the kiln system and cooling air, so that the negative pressure of the kiln head tends to be normal. (2) Reasonably adjust the air volume according to the change trend of the system to stabilize the negative pressure of the kiln head.
2. Treatment method of negative pressure reduction. (1) In the case of a large amount of blanking, adjustments should be made according to the actual situation to avoid large fluctuations in the kiln; (2) The calcination situation should be observed in time to avoid the interference of large material balls on the ventilation and flame combustion status
