Anthracite is the most mineralized coal and the oldest coal. It is characterized by high density, high carbon content, low volatile content, dense and hard tissue, low water absorption, it is suitable for long-distance transportation and long-term storage.
Although anthracite is suitable for long-distance transportation, if the water content is high, it will increase transportation costs. By reducing the anthracite moisture through drying technology, the calorific value and energy density can be greatly increased, and transportation costs can be reduced.
This process adopts rotary drum dryer. Anthracite coal is fed into a drum filled with high-temperature hot air through the conveying equipment. In the drum that rotates obliquely, the raw coal forms a material curtain in the drying cylinder by the lifting plate on the drum wall. The hot air and the raw coal are fully exchanged for heat, so that the raw coal is dried.
The drying line includes 4 major systems: feeding system, drying system, dust removal system and finished product system.
Raw coal with a moisture content of 15% is sent to the receiving hopper via a loader, and a rod valve is provided below the receiving hopper, and a corresponding number of rods are pumped according to the material consumption, and then the raw coal is evenly transported to the belt conveyor through the electromagnetic vibrating feeder and then raw coal is sent to the end of the dryer by belt conveyor. The feed end of the dryer is equipped with a double-layer air lock valve to prevent outside cold air from entering the drying system, and a heat-resistant steel discharge pipe is provided below the double-layer air lock valve to prevent the hot air from the hot air furnace outlet from burning out the discharge pipe. To ensure smooth transportation of raw coal.
The heat source of the dryer is a natural gas hot blast stove. It adopts the international advanced Riyaro burner + hot blast stove structure. The servo motor automatically adjusts the natural gas and air flow to meet the precise control of the process temperature. The hot air flows from the tail of the dryer to the head under the suction of the induced draft fan, and continuously exchanges heat with the raw coal.
Dust will be generated during the drying process, and the dust will enter the dust removal system along with the hot air. The secondary dust removal system adopts cyclone dust removal + bag dust removal. The first dust removal is cyclone dust removal to remove larger dust particles, and the second dust removal is bag type dust removal to remove finer dust particles. The purified gas contains dust concentration controlled within 30mg/Nm3 to meet national environmental protection requirements.
After drying, the moisture content of the raw coal is reduced to 4%, and then slides to the bucket elevator through the double-layer air lock valve. The bucket elevator lifts the dried raw coal into the finished product storage bin.
