Ceramic sand is widely used because of its low density, thermal insulation, strong impermeability, excellent reactivity of alkali-resistant aggregates, low water absorption, good frost resistance and durability. The equipment of ceramic sand production line mainly includes: raw material storage silo, dust chamber, induced draft fan, main kiln body, coal injection system, control cabinet, etc. At present, China's fracturing proppant production equipment is mostly industrial rotary kiln. We all know that the energy consumption of proppant rotary kiln is very large, so how to save energy on fracturing proppant production line?

 (1) Technical and engineering measures

1. Adopt advanced ceramsite sand technology and ceramsite sand equipment to improve equipment efficiency and reduce energy consumption.

2. Shorten the length of the low-voltage line to save energy. Transformers use energy-saving transformers. The circulating water system uses frequency conversion to adjust the motor to reduce power consumption.

3. Use energy-saving lamps for indoor and outdoor lighting to achieve automatic control switches as much as possible.

4. Take effective thermal insulation measures for the furnace, process equipment and thermal pipe network system.

5. Reasonable use of thermal energy to avoid irrational conversion of energy in the production process of ceramsite sand.

6. When designing the process, choose an energy-saving plan with a short route for the transmission equipment.

II. Water-saving measures for fracturing proppant production line

1. Use water-saving processes and equipment to improve water resource utilization and reduce inefficient consumption of water resources.

2. Improve wastewater reuse and reuse rate.

3. The water supply system adopts anti-seepage and leak-proof measures to reduce running, dripping,and leaking to prevent water loss.

4. Analyze the water consumption index, formulate an evaluation system for the water consumption index per unit of production, and improve the water resource utilization rate.
