1.Hopper Form of Bucket Elevator:

a. Tape: it is has characteristics of low cost, low quality, high speed, stable operation and low noise, but the strength of the tape is low. The fixed position of the hopper on the tape is weak, so the lifting height is short.

b. Chain hoist: Contrary to the tape, it allows a large lifting height, but the chain drive generates dynamic loads.

3.Loading Characteristics of Bucket Elevator:

a, draw type: mainly used to transport powdery, small particles, small pieces of non-abrasive and semi-abrasive bulk materials, without of resistance, the speed is 0.8 ~ 2m / s.

b. Inflow type: It is mainly used to transport large block and abrasive materials. The hopper is arranged very densely. The speed of the hopper is low, generally not more than 1m/s, and it is mostly used for gravity unloading.

4.Discharge characteristics of Bucket elevator:

a, centrifugal discharge: it is suitable for powdery, small particles, small pieces of material with good dispersion, mainly used for belt hoists, the speed is fast, generally is 1~5m / s,

b. Gravity unloading: suitable for large block and abrasive materials, and suitable for continuous hopper arrangement, the bucket speed is slow, and the speed is generally 0.4~0.6m/s.

c. Mixed discharge: the speed is generally 0.6~0.8m/s.
