Vertical mill parameters is very important for the performance of vertical mill. Knowing the main control parameters of vertical mill can help us improve the production efficiency.

1 Differential pressure: it can reflect the volume of feeding in mill, differential pressure fluctuation can cause the system to be unstable. When the differential pressure is high, the material inside the mill is much, the ventilation system is not stable, the internal and external circulation is increasing, which causes the vibration (material layer thickness is too thick, the current of the speed reducer increasing, bearing vibration fluctuation is frequent). We can reduce the volume of feeding, adjust the ventilation quantity and increase the grinding pressure to ease the differential pressure fluctuation. Only the stable differential pressure is beneficial to improve the volume of feeding.

2 Vertical mill vibration: it is the dominant factor affecting on the feed quantity and operation rate. When material layer is instable (too high or too low), the great granularity of material, the poor grindability of material, sometimes iron into the mill caused vibration, generally we should adjust the thickness of the material layer, and control the sub-material ratio (adjusting the speed and air volume of powder selection)

3 Vertical mill outlet temperature: The outlet temperature change is the reflection of the retention time of the material in the mill. When the mill outlet temperature is too low, grinding material thickness increases, mill main motor power consumption becomes large, while mill vibration because the material layer is too thick, differential pressure fluctuation is not conducive to improve the feeding. When the outlet temperature is higher, the thickness of the material layer becomes thinner, and the grinding layer is damaged. Generally we can adjust the circulation wind or cold wind baffle opening and the water spray to control the mill outlet temperature.

4 Grinding pressure: it has a great influence on the volume of feed. When the grinding pressure is too low, the material can not be effective grinded in grinding disc. We should increase the grinding pressure, the raw material yield is increasing, the amount of spit residue is reducing, so that the volume of feeding is increasing.

5 Ventilation: As a power source to enhance large quantity raw materials, ventilation has great influence on the volume of feed. When the ventilation is small, a large number of raw material can not be moved outside the mill, which leads to an increase in the amount of internal and external circulation, the differential pressure will rise, and it will be a serious blockage phenomenon. At this time only increasing pumping power, reducing the internal and external circulation can increase the volume of feed.
