LECA is very important in oil production, LECA plant equipment includes jaw crusher, LECA rotary kiln, ball mill, rotary cooler, rotary dryer, dust collector, granulator, etc. This articles will introduce some knowledge about LECA plant equipment and LECA production process.
1 Crushing: Bauxite mining block degree is generally about 300~500mm, which contains a small amount of water. Generally the using two level system is the composition of broken jaw crusher and hammer crusher, which controls the particle size to be less than 8mm.

2 Matching: Bauxite, manganese powder, recycled material are conveyed to the respective material warehouse where speed-regulating belt scale is set to realize the measurement of material automatic batching.
3 Grinding: Ball mill is used with grinding and drying generally, which supports high efficiency separator to compose closed system. This grinding efficiency is high. The hot air of the drying material can be derived from the waste gas of the rotary kiln, so that the waste heat can be used. Meanwhile it also can be arranged the special hot air furnace.
4 Granulating: The raw meal is stored in the raw material storage. Generally set 2 to 3 storage, there can discharge material alone, also multi-discharge. The raw meal is sent to a small storage, where speed-regulating belt scale is set to realize the measurement of material automatic batching. The raw material enters the disc type ball mill. In the rotation process of ball mill, the raw material can be made into a variety of particle size of the balls. Then the balls be conveyed by the belt conveyor into the screening device. The qualified balls into the rotary kiln, conversely too large balls return to the raw material grinding process.
5 Calcining: Balls get into the rotary kiln with certain angle. With the rotation of the rotary kiln, the ball rolls go into the kiln head, meanwhile pulverized coal is burning which is spraying from kiln head into the kiln to burn material, and ceramic sand ball is calcined into high strength in rotary kiln.
6 Pulverized coal preparation: The pulverized coal preparation can be grinded by ball mill or vertical mill. It can dry pulverized coal by extracting hot air from the kiln head. The fineness of pulverized coal can be adjusted by using the dynamic powder classification machine, which provides the conditions for the full combustion of the pulverized coal.
7 Product cooling: Cooling ceramic generally adopts rotary cooler, because the operation is simple and reliable. The secondary air of cooler can completely be into the kiln. Rotary cooler with multi-channel burner can save a lot of energy. The temperature of the ceramic sand from the cooler is very low, you can grasp it with the hand.
8 Screening: Ceramic sand from cooler can be directly conveyed to the multi-stage vibration screen and divided into a plurality of grain size grade according to the requirements.
