1. Project Introduction
The Egypt customer’s Company owns a fertilizer production plant. The plant required one set of new type disc pelletizer to make fertilizer. The raw material is potassium sulfate sop with size of 40μm. The final fertilizer should be spherical with size of 2-5mm.The required production capacity is 7 tons per hour. It is bidding equipment. The technical parameters and model selection of disc pelletizer have not yet been determined.
2. Project Description
After the customer disclosed the technical requirements to us, the technicians from Henan Zhengzhou Mining Machinery Co.,Ltd (ZK Corp) quickly gave a solution according to the customer's existing production situation. The solution includes detailed equipment parameters, shape drawings and layout drawings. The detailed proposal and quick reply from ZK Corp had given the customer a very professional first impression.
After one month of research, discussion, calculation and 3D layout design with the customer's technical staff, the final proposal had been finalized. Meanwhile, ZK Corp’s technician also helped customers solve many other technical problems during the production. Finally, the technical parameters such as disc diameter, thickness, lining material, slope, rotation speed, structure and power are determined. Mutual trust had been greatly deepened. At the same time, the equipment technical parameters with reasonable price submitted by our company were recognized by the final user side, and finally ZK Corp won the equipment of this bidding section.
After 60 days of production, the disc pelletizer was tested in the assembly workshop of Henan Zhengzhou Mining Machine Co., LTD., and passed the quality and function test of the third party inspection company in one time. 3. Equipment Parameter
Variable frequency motor→large and small pulleys→reducer→big gear and pinion→disc body rotation; raw material powder is evenly stirred by pre-watering, input into the disc, and as the disc rotates, the raw meal powder gradually forms a spherical shape by rolling in the disc body. After reaching the predetermined diameter, it is discharged outside the tray and then transported to the next process.
The disc pelletizer is mainly composed of the bottom scraper device, the disc body, the transmission device, the adjusting screw, the frame, the disc edge scraper device, etc.. The main structural features are:
(1) The bottom scraper and the vertical scraper are easy to replace, which is convenient for adjusting the gap with the disc bottom and the disc wall;
(2) The bottom scraper with powered structure and is easy to maintain;
(3) With the adjustment screw, the adjustment of the tilt angle of the disc is easier, so that it can reach the optimal granulation state.
