Overview of Scraper Conveyor

Scraper conveyor is suitable for transporting granular materials such as: calcined dolomite, ferro silicon particles, carbon & etc.

Application of Scraper conveyor

Scraper conveyor is the main transporting equipment for coal mine, chemical mines, metal mine, power plant and etc. It could transport the material horizontally, inclined or vertically. With reasonable structure, multiple materials could be transported. It could realize stable running and small noise, because scraper moves due to the transmission of plant differential gearbox.

Horizontal Lift:

Raw Material has the characteristics of internal friction and lateral press. When transporting horizontally, material gets the pressure of scraper chain in the direction of movement and its own weight, so the inner friction is generated. That fiction ensures the stableness among the material layer and sufficiently overcomes the outer friction generated from material movement in the slot.

Vertical Lift:

When transporting vertically, material gets the pressure of scraper chain in the direction of movement and generates the side pressure in horizontal direction, this way the inner friction is formed. Meanwhile, due to the continuously material-feeding of the horizontal section of the under part, under-part material push upper part material without stop. These friction and thrust is enough to overcome the outer friction generated from material movement in the slot and its weight, which make the raw material form a continuous flow and be lifed.
